General meaning of "Edge of Chaos"
"Chaos", in the term of "Edge of Chaos", doesn't mean the state of confusion.
It means indefiniteness.
"Edge of Chaos" is the moment when "Order" appears in "Chaos".
As it were, two symmetrical states coexist in one state.
What's Edge of Chaos?
"Edge of Chaos" is a musical project operated by Ken Kondo (previously known as knd-1).
Ken Kondo was born at the small town in the west-side of Japan.
Who operates Edge of Chaos?
Ken Kondo started to play guitar at the age of 15 under the influence of The Beatles.
And then he jumped into the muddy water of the world of Blues.
After a few years of playing Modern Blues in a band, he was tired of it once.
He changed the direction to the world of speed.
In addition to it, from around 2000 he began to play in abnormal style
(similar kinds of manners of Henry Kaiser, Fred Frith, or Elliott Sharp and so on).
His play is self-learned from the beginning until now.
Ken Kondo started to compose in 1993.
His first interest in music was film music, especially orchestrated score. It was his age of 12.
John Williams (a composer who is famous for "Star Wars") was his hero at that time.
His compositions are under the influence of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, John Zorn, JINMO and many other great composers of all kinds of music.
From 2010 his composing style is getting more abstract than ever.
About activities of Edge of Chaos
After 8 years of making and publishing dozens of studies on internet,
Edge of Chaos released first album "Spinnenseide" for only download purchasing in 2008.
He has released 4 albums now,
the latest ones are the pair of "Skin" and "Flesh" released in December, 2009.
On the other hands, he started free download service
through the label website "Libido Emission" from 2010.
It broadcasts mainly short pieces of Guitar Improvisations on audio file formats.
From Tokyo to Buenos Aires
In 2011 Edge of Chaos changed his home ground from Tokyo, Japan to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He is planning many ideas includes live performance with other talented artists at this place.
